President & Founder of the Company in 1998, and Grant Wright who became CEO
& Managing
Partner in 2004.
Supported by staff experienced in a variety of industries and skilled in all
aspects of communication production management, (W)right On's "can-do" team
remains nimble, responsive and always focused on ensuring clients' success.

Julie
Wright
President & Founder
Julie Wright has been president of
(W)right On Communications since founding the agency in 1998.
Named one of
50 to Watch by a regional business magazine, Julie
is Chair of the
San Diego North Economic Development Council (EDC)’s Board of Directors;
Co-chairs the Leadership North County Alumni Group; and is on the President’s
Council of California State University San Marcos. Julie oversees all aspects of
agency operations and provides account leadership to all (W)right On
Communications’ client accounts drawing on her years of experience, industry
connections and media relationships.
Formerly Director of Marketing for a major financial institution ($1 billion
assets under management), Julie is deeply skilled at strategically managing the
media from her earlier experience as a news anchor, and is responsible for
resetting the industry bar for service and results.
“To acknowledge her professional success and community involvement,” Julie was
named to the San Diego Metropolitan (San Diego’s largest circulation business
publication) seventh annual 40 Under Forty honor roll.
Julie holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Journalism degrees.

Katherine
Bernstein
Account Executive
Account Executive
Katherine Bernstein brings to (W)right On more than 14 years of diverse
experience in public relations, marketing communications and journalism.
Previously,
Katherine led the public relations team for a division of San Diego-based
technology company Qualcomm. There, Katherine developed communication strategies
to launch new products and services, including the AMBER Alert Highway Network,
which enables long-distance truck drivers the ability to receive AMBER Alerts
based on the truck’s location. She worked with a variety of trade media covering
the transportation, construction and wireless technology industries.
While serving as
Communications Manager for the National Parks Conservation Association in
Washington, DC, Katherine created and implemented highly successful media
relations strategies, while her work promoting park-related issues ranging from
clean air to park funding and wildlife habitat preservation resulted in coverage
by outlets including USA Today, NPR, Washington Post and Conde Nast Traveler.
Experience as a
reporter for the Columbia Missourian and editor at
Weekend Magazine means Katherine understands the media’s needs—insight
she applies to promote (W)right On’s clients every day.
Katherine holds a
Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia.

Chancelor
Shay
Account Coordinator
Account Coordinator Chancelor Shay brings a fresh perspective to
(W)right On Communications with innovative communication ideas and a keen sense
of market trends.
A bright and talented public relations professional, Chancelor’s
experience includes working with non-profit organizations such as the San Diego
Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired, where he helped develop a complete,
low cost PR campaign, and hands-on experience working with the media for the
2009 NCAA Women’s Basketball tournament. Chancelor is completing his studies at
San Diego State University in the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts,
where he is pursuing a degree in Media Studies with a minor in Political
Science.
He is an active member of the Journalism and Media Studies
Association and Public Relations Student Society of America and received Dean’s
List and Civil Core academic honors. In addition to his studies and
extracurricular activities, Chancelor remains involved in the community by
assisting with fundraising for Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego.

An Emmy
Award winning member of (W)right On's team, Kevin O'Hara brings over 18
years of experience in creating engaging video news releases, TV
commercials, multi-camera live events and corporate videos, all for DVD and
myriad web delivery channels.
Using the
latest broadcast quality production and editing equipment located in
(W)right On's San Diego headquarters, Kevin leads projects from pre- through
post-production. Other awards Kevin has garnered for clients such as
Callaway Golf, GE Capital, Qualcomm and Johnson & Johnson include an Aegis
award as well as several Tellys. Kevin holds an Associate in Arts Degree and
a Certificate of Achievement in Radio and Television.

Jordan is a
junior at Arizona State University currently studying Communications. She is
on a path to graduate college early and has experience in the network
marketing and hospitality fields.

Tressa Foster is a graduate of The
Illinois Institute of Art specializing in Visual Communications, and has been a
professional graphic designer since 1999. She previously worked as a graphic
designer for an independent book publisher and a marketing communications firm.
Tressa has a true passion for innovative design and uses her talents in
combination with her education and experience to make her creative visions come
to life. Tressa has advanced skills using the design industry’s leading computer
programs and excellent knowledge of commercial offset printing processes. In
addition to her technical skills, she keeps her design and marketing skills
cutting-edge with her active involvement with The American Institute of Graphic
Arts (AIGA) and staying informed of digital graphics, fonts, and color trends
through seminars and continuing education classes offered from Adobe and Dynamic
Graphics Training.

Designer
Celia Creek brings
over 20 years graphic design experience to (W)right On Communications. A
graduate of the Art Institute of Seattle, Celia began her award winning career
in graphic design and art direction at the Everett Herald. There, she was a
marketing artist specializing in display advertisements, special section covers
and various promotional communications under tight deadlines. She later joined
the San Diego Union-Tribune where her continued success resulted in her
eventually becoming Art Director responsible for news feature and advertising
design, from concept to pre-press.
Through her ability to focus intently on clients' key messages, Celia
combines her experience with confident placement of color, balance of elements,
and strong copywriting skills to create exceptional outcomes.

With experience
working for such household brand name companies as American Airlines, Honda,
Hewlett Packard and General Motors, Andy Mansker
is instrumental in helping WOC's clients
develop a professional internet presence as well as strong search engine
placement to drive traffic. Keeping WOC and its clients on
pace with ever-changing technology, Andy develops and implements solutions that
may include database development, HTML, DHTML, PHP, Java, JavaScript, mySQL,
PDF, animation, audio and video among many technologies.
Andy is very active in the community working with organizations including Big
Brothers Big Sisters, Purple Heart Fund and the New Outlook Foundation.
